red front turn signal?

red front turn signal?

I was wondering if it's legal to have a red front turn signal, or does it have to be yellow? If it is legal to have it in red, does anyone know if thye are offered anywhere?

If you wanted to do it, it would be really easy. A standard red window kit could be cut and applied to the turn signal because a majority of the turn signal is actually hidden behind the bumper.

so in other words, just put red window tint over it?

Go ahead and see how long it is before you get pulled over with red front turn signals. I bet it would be about 10 miles. They are illegal, and would stand out like a sore thumb to any Law Officer. Any color except white and yellow is illegal to display from the front of a vehicle.

Red is not allowed on civilian cars on the front. I don't even think it would take 10 minutes to get pulled over. You'd have a red blinking light on the front of your car... think about it.

^^Definietly agree. Any colors that law enforcement uses is not allowed on civilian vehicles in order to easily differentiate with no trouble. That way you don't have to wonder if that slick Saleen S281 is from Sector 7 or just some punk. Or if it's a transformer.
