OK. The '05 should be here in a few weeks and so far I haven't found anyone I trust enough to put stripes on her.

Since I live in the southeast corner of Alabama, I can make it almost anywhere in AL, FL, or GA in 6-8 hours. And yes I am willing to drive that far for a REALLY good stripe job. Preferably someone who has already striped an '05.

Know anyone you would HIGHLY recomend?

EDIT: I'm looking for a VINYL stripe installer.

Looks like they only do the best.
I wonder if vinyl stripes aren't "beneath" them. lol
Do you know if they've striped an '05 yet?
I'll put them on the list. Thanks.

I backed out because once I saw the buried painted ones.... And I don't have that $$$$$$$ right now.

$700 vanilla which I obviously would not have been happy with after seeing the painted buried ones which are $1,300.

StangNut, I have a friend who does amazing work in Naples, Florida. He mostly does custom motorcycle paint jobs, but if you're still having trouble finding someone, let me know. I'm sure he hasn't done an '05, but he worked as a painter for the Ford Bodyshop before he started his own custom shop, so he knows how to handle a 'Stang. BTW, Naples is in Southwest FL.

Sorry O.C.D.
But thanks for asking. I wasn't even going to call tonight.

"As of Feb 25th your unit is locked in for production. It is scheduled to be built week of Feb. 21st."

I wonder why they say "as of Feb 25th"? That's next Friday. Could that be my build date?

I don't understand that system, I don't think anyone does. Mine has said Serialized no ETA, Week of Feb 28, Week of Feb 21, and Week of Feb 28 (again)... all "As of Feb 3rd."
Good for you though.

Yes. They're on my list, but I've never heard how good they are. Most people just order their stripes. I don't know anyone who actually had GraphicExpress install them.
I've been meaning to ask them how much more it will cost to get a complete stripe kit. (one that goes to the bottom of the bumper)
And also if their stripes are tappered. They look like it in one the pics.

EDIT: Just looked it up. Only a 6 hour drive.

Hmm.. have looked on their site and have not found what these buried paint stripes look like. What do you mean when you refer to that? If they are really worth it I would pay that amount, and if the work is as good as you are saying.

Buried means they strip your paint down to the metal, paint on the stripes and then re clear coat it, they look like glass, and you couldn't feel em if you tried. They are SPECTACULAR. And also about $800 out of my price range.

Thanks April! I thought that is what it meant, but wanted to be sure. I think I am not going to get stripes, going another way, but maybe I will use these guys to do the work as well.

As I head to my next duty station.

Not so. I called wanting them to put Crazy Horse on mine and they said they do not customer install. I was willing to go there. I did order catalog.
