Rear Side Marker Bulbs questions?

I purchased some rear side markers that are clear or at least frosted. What color Bulb and which bulb number should I be installing. The side markers originally are red with a clear bulb. So now it just looks white. Should I be getting orange to match the front turn signals or what. Also does anyone know which bulb it is, the part number that is thanks for any help.

It's a W5W, per the owner's manual. It should be a red bulb if your lens is now clear. Amber wouldn't do any good since it stays lit all the time when the parking lights are on - it's not a turn indicator.
I have these in mine:

Be forewarned though, the LED's won't come on unless the car is running. I don't know why, that's just how they work. Or at least that's how they work on my 05 - I can't speak on any other year S197. But let me tell you they are bright!
