I would not get the spoiler as I like several of the aftermarket ones much better (CDC and Westrendz for example). That way, you won't have to worry about the holes from the stock spoiler.

B) Ordered ours with the spoiler delete option.
Arrived FRIDAY and had the spoiler installed. Now that I see it in person it looks good.
I've seen lots of photos on hte 05 GT but nothing does it justice once seen in person.
My advice, look at one of each and then decide, it's a visual and matter of preference
Hey Woody1--how much did your dealer charge you for the spoiler and installation? Havent' seen any info on that yet.

Please advise. Thx.

I'd definately go with the delete. I really don't care for the look with the stock one on there, and if someone comes up with a good ducktail kit later on, it'll be all ready for it.

Wow lots of opinions here. I'm getting the spoiler, but I like the car with or without one. I'm getting Mineral Grey, but I also like Screaming Yellow, Windveil Blue, Satin Silver, Legend Lime, and Sonic Blue.

That's a decision you're just going to have to make yourself.

On the SN95 the stock spoiler looked good, on the new '05 I don't like it. My $0.02...

I prefer a spoiler but as soon as I get a chance I will remove it and replace it with a ducktail. Unfortunately in Canada I cannot order the car with the spoiler delete option. I still don't understand that.....

I am leaning towards getting the spoiler. It does look cleaner without but I'm not sure I like it without a spoiler on a stock gt. To me it just looks kind of plain.

However, I think if you had the car lowered just an inch or 2 and put some 18 to 20 inch rims on it would look nice without a spoiler. That would take care of that plain look.

Take a look at the orange stang with the ghost stripes. It doesn't have a spoiler and it looks excellent! A spoiler on that car would only bring it down.

IMO if your going to be adding sema-like appearance mods the spoiler delete option can actually add to the car's appearance!

ask yourself these...

1.is your car a bird?
2.do you plan on flying it over north pole?
3.which dipping sauce do you prefer?
4.do you blaze up the right or left part of the ice? (defencemen need not apply)
5.are you a mighty ducks fan?
6.do you live in canada?

1. No
2. No, its too cold up there and my Santa suit is a little faded.
3. Barbeque
4. Ice?, this is Florida.
5. Does anyone honestly like that movie?
6. Nope

I ordered mine with the spoiler b/c it was before I saw pictures of it without. If I could do it over again I would have went with the spoiler delete. It looks a lot better and if I go with anything its going to be a ducktail type spoiler and then I will need to smooth out the holes left by the factory spoiler. I would just say look around the aftermarket and see if there is anything you like better than the stock. If so go with the spoiler delete and have less to worry about when adding the new one.

I like it on my car, but I have also seen pictures on here of non-spoilers that I like also.....I guess it's a toss up?!

They drill holes in the trunk lid and bolt it on. So you can't just remove it if you don't like it, as you will have holes in your deck lid.

I opted to delete the spoiler on the Satin Silver I ordered. It really looks good both ways, but the spopiler deleted reminds me more of the original fastbacks.
