Rear Badges. Any after market out there?

Just wondering if anybody has see any other custom rear badges to replace the stock GT and v6 mustang ones. I know Steeda has one out there but don't really care to advertise for them (nothing personal)? My car is getting striped this week and they had to take the original GT badge off and will replace. I figure now is the time to see if there is an aftermarket one? Let me know if anybody has found a site. Thanks.

Eventually I plan to replace my fender emblems with reproduction "GT" emblems from a '65/'66 GT, as well as taking off my faux gas cap and somehow attaching on a reproduction gas cap from a '65/'66 also. $30 for the pair of badges and $40 for the gas cap.

Rene, I'm at work now and the links are at home in my favorites. The gas cap is probably smaller than the stock one (which I personally think the stock one is a bit too big) but it will definitely cover up the two holes that are behind it. It's just a matter of finding a way of attaching it.

Ian, those will look great on your car. I like the one I saw a while back where the guy with the black GT had used a vinyl decal with the concept running pony and put it on the rear badge. He also had the same decals on the side where the GT was. Did anyone see that? That looked really good. I'll see if I can find that picture again.

I found the one with the concept pony. His screen name is Duckman and he posted a topic called "Pics of my Stang, Your opinions??" Do a search and it will come up, I can't seem to get a picture from it loaded here.

Congrats on getting a pic up, Janet. I go back and forth everyday about what I am going to do about my fender badges and faux gas cap. I'll figure it out in 6 months, when I bring my car into the body shop. I probably won't know for sure until that day.

The gas cap pictured above is for a '66. The '65 gas cap has the same center as the '05 V6. Both of them are a lot thicker than our fake ones and will stick out pretty far from the car.
Also, don't forget about making a way to get to the trunk lock.

Jason, thanks for the info. I just recently was doing some research on '65/'66 Shelby's and noticed the '65 Shelby's had the running pony on the gas cap. And yeah, the trunk lock would be hard, although I was thinking about just covering it up with the cap and using the key fob. I could always flip down a rear seat and pull the trunk release cord if for some reason the key fob was lost or if it broke... at least until I got a new one. But, after thinking about it... I'll leave the running pony faux gas cap on and go for the 1965 Shelby look vs. the '66.
