Well I'm tired of the 281 badge on the left of my car reading 182 so I want to put in a group order to get custom 281 badges made for the left side. I'm planning on calling tomorrow to see how many people they would need in on the deal before they'd consider making them and selling them for a reasonable price.
Here's a pic of the 281 emblem I'm talking about.

I honestly think it looks best as is. We read from left to right. If instead of the 281 badge, you used a Mach emblem - you wouldn't want one side to say Mach and the other to say hcaM.
I can understand wanting the running ponies to face forward on both sides of the car, but I wouldn't mess w/ the numbers.

If it was backwards I'd be trippin out I think. Looks normal now

OK OK then I must confess why I even started thinking about it. The other day I was at the track I heard the D-bag in the announcer booth mumble WTF is a 182? I'm sure he's a moron but it got me thinking. I'll still call Autobadges tomorrow but depending on the responses I get here I may or may not go through with it.

StangNut after reading everyone's responses I've decided not to go through with it. Although had I decided to go through with it the emblem in post 7 would read 281 from right to left.

I was wondering why someone would read that as 182 as well. I don’t think I suffer from dyslexia but I think it has to do with how it’s written (almost like an optical illusion). The font used tends to make the “1” stand out as the first digit. Maybe if it was italicized “281” the number “2” would grab attention first. Just a thought
