I'm sold on these lights. They're definitely on my build list now. The only thing I have to decide is if I should get them in silver to match my car or in black. Any thoughts?

The lens on the light is plastic. Since they're a Raxiom product, they come with a full 2 year warranty. Great quality, and made in the same places that many OE manufacturers produce their DOT lights. Hope this helps! Hit me up if you have any questions at all!

However the quality of the paint job is not so great , on both buckets the black plastic bleeds through the paint in several places due to the fact that there wasn't good paint coverage. This probalby wouldn't be as noticable on some colors , but on screeming yellow it sure is. It's not bad enough that I'm going to return them , but as I said I'm not pleased with it. Other than that , I love these things ...
That's very odd. Our Pre-Painted QC has always been top-notch. Someone must have had a bad day in our booth! Just shoot me over an order number and I'll send out some new ones along with a pre-paid return tag for the old ones! Just swap them out in the box we send with the new lights and slap the label on it. We'll take it from there!

Sorry about that, and shoot me over that order number if you're interested!

Chris

I hope that means the new sets are in , they sent me a second pair that had the same problem as the first set and after that they realized that all the sets in some colors had defects. So myself and another member on the forum are waiting till new sets come without the defects. Their customer service has been good about it and they didn't expect me to remove the first set and send them back before sending out the second set. The only real downside is having to install them twice , but it's still not that bad and it'll be quicker the second time. They also sent me a $25 refund , I assume for the inconvenience , that makes it hurt a little less too ...

Very nice. Looks like you really needed to replace your factory lights also. They were getting a little foggy. I put mine in last week, but haven't taken pictures yet. I will post some this weekend for the Windveil Blue peeps.

Yeah, maintenance serves as a great justification/motivator for mods

I've been using Retro-solutions 55w Digital for 3 weeks and and they work perfect with no excess heat from the HID bulbs. I like the look a lot!
