Find a shop to do them for you. I ordered the stripes from Bob White Decals and they came as 2 stripes bu cut into 2 pieces, no preset gap in the middle so i woulda had to measure the entire car. PASS. i went to a shop and had them computer cut with the gap measureed by the computer, and installed for $400 even. Best thing i ever did and at least they stand by their work. If youve ever put windshield decals on cars before you will know the pain of bubbles and creases in the decal and getting them out. Not worth the effort or time to do on your own.

Be careful of the stuff on ebay, low price means low quality. Find out what brand material they use (3M, Avery, etc.)

now off topic a bit; Anybody know where I can purcahse a wide roll of vinyl stripe material? Talking about something 18" to 24" in width.

I can vouch for Baltimore Street Mods I did my car with their kit after seeing someone else's, and I decided it would be the best $120 ($150 now) bones I would ever spend. Turned out great, and took me 5 hours.

That's a pre-cut kit specially for the 2005 Mustang, the one you asked about IS NOT.

That's the difference! You'd have a hard time doing a universal kit on this car and would really have to know what your doing. The vinyl itself is cheap enough, it's the labor. If you want to do it yourself, get the pre-cut kit from BSM.

If you want someone else to do it, don't bother getting anything online, you won't save any money, just let the graphics guy you take it to handle it.

Sixty-six, do you have a pic of the backside of car with stripes? I have a redfire and want to stripe my car. I was leaning towards silver or gold. Your pic convinced me to go with gold stripes.

I remember some time back that it was Rallystripes.com, that was using the pic of Orthoguys car without permission. His stripes did not even come from them. They pulled the pic after numerous complaints.

I stand corrected, he's the first to publicly make the connection by posting his thought's on a forum

And thanks for the compliment I've got a ways to go with it yet, but it's certainly a start!

Next spring (hopefully) The vinyl will be replaced with paint
