Anyone know of any manufacturers of raised white letter tires for the V6 stock 215 65r16 wheels? I have been to the michelin, goodyear, firestone and other dealer sites and can't find any. Also, if there are tires available with a rim upgrade to 17" let me know.

Thanks

Doug

Raised white letters are tough to find... espeically to fit our cars! I know.. I spent like 3 weeks looking! LOL!

Goodyear makes a RWL tire with "Nascar" on it (or are they yellow letter?) but it is slightly smaller than stock. Think it was in their Eagle line...

My big tires in the back are RWL but I they didn't make a tire to fit the front that was RWL... ARGH!!! I thought Cooper made a tire that would same as stock and was RWL but I didn't get it because I wanted a BIG back tire...

I don't think you'll find a 17 inch RWL that will fit your car... just not enough sidewall... or so I was told...

Good luck!

What goes around comes around LOL. I remember like twenty years back when if you wanted decent performance tires it was nigh impossible to get them WITHOUT white lettering. Desperate folks that wanted blackwalls even had the white lettered tires mounted with the letters facing into the middle of the car. Things never seem to be just right LOL :bang:

Goodyear Eagle LS is the only one I find in that size. Its prolly the one with the NASCAR logo though.

Thanks guys...I am sure that in the next couple months something will come up. Firestone has a mean looking RWL tire that I would love to get but they just don't have the right size. dagnabbit

You can get that tire, but for show purposes they had them painted with those white sidewall markers.
I've thought of getting those markers, but they are only temporary before they begin to fade & look bad.

Has anyone come across red pin stripe tires like on the early Mustangs and British sports cars? Just wondering if they are available...

I haven't seen those anywhere. I remember seeing a VW concept bug with a set on, but maybe they had a custom mockup.
They would look pretty good actually.

Just Google it! I knew they had to be out there somewhere. http://www.widewhitewalltires.com/index.htm check this site out for Red or Whitewall tiers... I'm thinking redwalls would look alright with Bullitts, what do ya think?
