just bought a shorty and don't have a freakin clue.I thought I would just be able to unscrew old one and screw on new one.Do they make a shorty like that?Mine has a wire with a plug.thanks

Ford has used the same antenna for years, it just screws in. Nothing else is needed.

I payed 18 for my 8 inch antenna and its fantastic! I got it from a co. called Top Edge Design and they still have my pic posted on that site and the reception on this thing is phenominal!

No, they dont make their own. Just look for one that matches the thread.

I have had my Steeda shorty for about 4 months and love it. It was actually created for the Focus, but with it's retro style looks great on the new stangs.
