Question about mustang tuning deep dish bullitts

I ordered some wheels from mustang tuning for my 07 GT/CS about 2 weeks ago and just got around to getting them put on today. I got 18x9 for the front with Nitto 255/45 and 18x10 for the back with 285/40. Now, after getting these put on all I have to say is HOLY SH*T! The wheels are REALLY, REALLY close to rubbing the calipers and just barely clear. I was scared to drive the **** thing fearing I might tear something up. They probably only clear by 2 or 3/16 of an inch. I drove it around and didn't see any signs of rubbing. Now, my question is this. Anyone who has these wheels is this how close they are suppose to set to the calipers? Do I have anything to worry about as I don't want to tear something up. Someone put my mind at ease somewhat or give me some advise. Thanks.

Dont worry, they fit fine. Mine were so close that at first the shop refused to mount the tires on the rims because they thought they wouldnt fit, and they didnt want me to not be able to return them, after calling Mustang Tuning they assured me they would fit and if not they would give me a full refund. It is a really close fit, but they do fit without any problems...On a side note, I just had to take mine off today for the winter

Thanks for the replies. Anyone else care to chime in about these wheels? I know alot of you guys have bought these same wheels so anyone else care to share your experiences with them? Mine are just SO close to the calipers, about 2/16ths of an inch and it just seems way to close for comfort. I'm thinking about putting my stock wheels back on my ride. As far as I can tell their not rubbing but ****, I can't quit thinking about it.

I have the EXACT same wheels. I noticed the same thing when I installed them. I literally though "Duh-amn that's close!" But I rotated them around and they didn't touch a thing. Some other car guys even commented on how cool they look so close to the calipers. Custom enginerring baby!!
Several weeks now and NO problems what so ever. Go out and enjoy those DD wheels!

Don't sweat it man - I bought my chrome deep dish through Discount Tire but they fit the same way.

I've had them on for about three months - no probs and nothing but compliments......

Don't worry about it - they are fine.....
