Put a Black spoiler on Red Fire
#1
I am slowly working my way to getting my car somewhat like Steeda's. I bought a black factory spoiler instead of having someone paint mine. Figured it would be better to have a factory paint job. Plus if I can sell my old one, it will be a cheaper option. I got a good deal on the spoiler, it was on Ebay for $110 by Casco. The auction ended on Monday and I received the spoiler on Thursday.
My next goal is to paint the hood. Then a chin. So far I like Shinoda's, but also saw Fang Performance's and liked that one too. I will wait to see more pics of Fang's to help me decide.
If you are interested in a Red Fire spoiler, Click Here for my ebay auction. If interested, let me know and I can stop this auction.
In the mean time, here are some before, during, and after pics:

Man I love the way the Sun works on the redfire paint.

Kluski,
Who blacked out the panel between your tail lights? That looks awesome.

Click here, or here for more info on the black out panel. It was the one off of Ebay that was talked about around here.
I installed it myself in about 1/2 hour. Pretty easy.
I would love a black hood real soon, but I ned a job first. Construction and Pittsburgh are slow. So first a job, then more things for the Red Baron.

I actually kind of like the way that black spoiler looks with the redfire. After reading the topic and before seeing the pictures I was thinking that it would look terrible, but it looks pretty sweet. Like someone else above said, a black hood would really set it off I think

Looks great man. I love that blacked out panel and spoiler. In addition to the black hood, have you thought about maybe some black side stripes (like the Steeda I attached). I think it'd really pull the whole thing together. But either way .

I made a quick rendition of what it will look like. I am scraping together some cash to at least get the hood painted.

I am not sure of side stripes yet. I have not seen any that grab me yet.

I do see them on Ebay some times. Reproductions, plastic/fiberglass, for around $120, but I have seen the original alumuninum ones go for more than $300
