I asked the seller if they had pictures of it actually on a Mustang, and the answer was no, but it was built specifically for the 05-06 Mustang. Hmm.

It's very subtle compared to the others out there. for 70 bucks I am almost tempted to order it just to see how it does look. But then again, maybe not.

 

On the site it describes it as "BMW M-SERIES STYLED TRUCK LIP SPOILER"

I didn't know BMW made an M-SERIES truck lip?

 

I'd be tempted to get this. I ordered and purchased my '05 GT with the spoiler delete, and if I were to put a rear spoiler on, I would want a subtle lip like that. I'd like to see it on an '05 Mustang first though.

Obviously the guy is on crack and includes some of it when you purchase this spoiler. Says it is for a 2005 mustang, says its a BMW M-SERIES STYLED TRUCK LIP SPOILER, which doesn't exist and the picture of the car on that website is not even a mustang. Anyone that buys this is a stinker, then again, they do say a stinker is born every minute so maybe I should start selling them. Perhaps I can sell the springs I took out of my car as BMW M-Series styled truck springs.

 

CA Stang, I ordered mine spoiler delete also, just for that reason. I've got a Westrenz ducktail (I always want to type that as ductail for some reason) on pre-order, but won't get that until mid May at the earliest. If these are ready now, maybe I'll get it, and try it out, then decide if I want to keep it or go with the Westrenz. Maybe.

 

Jay, the spoiler you posted in this link isn't even for a Mustang. They say it is but that pic is of a BMW. I definately would not risk it.

 

lay off the guy's typo, it says "bmw style trunk lip spoiler" at the top

but, I bet it is just a BMW part, and he's trying to make some money

John, you have those ultra rare BMW M-Series truck springs? I want some of those big time. pm me if you want to sell them

 

you all are right, that thing will look like crap on a mustang if it is for a BMW, but I was thinking that if there really was one made SPECIFICALLY for the MUSTANG then it might look good

 

Jayguy, if you do purchase this and mount it, please post some pictures. Hopefully it is actually made for an '05 Mustang. If it is, I think it would look good.

 

I got a second reply from the seller, he says it is specifically for the Mustang, and they have them in stock. It's helo on by 3M tape, which is how the Westrenz I want is held on also. I'm thinking about it just because the Westrenz won't be ready when my car is, but this I could have shipped, painted, and installed on my car before I even see it. And if I decide I want the Westrenz instead, the tape comes off easily enough. I almost think I talked myself into it. I'll have to sleep on it.
If I do get it, pictures should be coming on May 6th, when I pick up my car.

 

I saw this a while ago. I asked for pictures too. He replied that he did not have any. Why can't he get any pictures of a the spoiler on a mustang? If I want to sell a product that is legit, I would post pictures. I have watched his auctions for a while and have not seen any buyers yet.

Yea.... let me tell you its BS. I have a 2004 BMW M3 that has that "spoiler" on it, and the M3 trunk is shaped WAY different from my mustang. So unless he has a different model, the one that fits on the M3 WONT fit on our stangs.

 

If the guy insists it is for the Mustang, even if he does not have a car to put it on you think he would at least show a picture of just the spoiler. I think he is full of

 

That is the style that I want, but like all the others here, I'm a bit skeptical since no picture exists of it on an '05 Mustang. It is definitely not designed for the '05 Mustang and my guess is that you'd have some gaps on your trunk with this thing.

Jay, I would vote against it, but if you want to be the guinnea pig, please post pics.
