Pulled trigger on shelby 500 front end

I ordered the Shelby 500 front end today from my local dealer. I ordered everything but the hood and a few other parts that are the same as my GT, such as turn indicator/parking lights. I'll put an 06 v6 pony/tri bar emblem in place of the cobra emblem. I'm holding off on the spoiler at this time .........it's more $$$$ than the front bumper!!!!!!! I'm also gonna wait on a hood and see what aftermarket hoods come out in the near future. I'll post updates and pics as the project develops.

Oh yeah, the total cost was $1100 incl. tax. Thats with a 15% Mustang club discount.

You talking about the front or rear spoiler? Cause for the rear you can just get the 3DCarbon piece....

I'll throw in a suggestion for the Gene Evans Ford 'Legend' Rear Spoiler. Looks very similar to the actual Shelby unit, bolts in the factory holes and is fairly inexpensive (+/- 300.00). Just a thought.

Where did you get the parts from?

And how can us regular guys get a 15% Mustang discount?
I've been shopping around as well and looking to pull the trigger
as well. Am with you on the hood and rear spoiler. Still trying
to decide to go full Shelby GT500 poser or a mix of Shelby GT500
front end, stock hood w/ hood scoop and classic design concepts
ducktail and bullitt wheels.

Any thoughts guys?

mix and match, GT500 Front end, ducktail spoiler, and either the shelby rear or something similar will look good, and it will be obvious your not a gt500 poser.

I got them from my local dealer. The discount is what they give members of the Oklahoma Mustang club. PM me and I'll give you details about the dealership if you are located anywhere close to Oklahoma City. A lot of dealerships, especially SVT dealerships give a discount to the local Mustang Clubs. By the way GTRacerX I'm just a regular guy too.

I wanna say the 07 Shelby spoiler is around $350-$360. List price is something like $400.00. I figure Ford anticipated a lot of people wanting to go with the Shelby spoiler, so they jacked the price up.

List price on the spoiler is $481.00. I can sell if for around $355.00. That's a pretty big difference.

That is a good discount, but why is the dang thing so expensive. As far as materials go it's a lot smaller than the bumper. What is so special about the spoiler?????
