What do you guys think of these rims?

http://www.privatwheels.com/html/kraftwerk.html

You can get them through discount tire for $212 each size is 18x8.5 5x144.3 with +35 mm offset.

According to Discount Tire, says they will fit fine. Anyone else know where you can order Privat rims?

pretty nice. To bad 18x8.5 is the widest they offer.

I agree, thats too narrow. I need a 18x10 option for the rear atleast. putting 275 or 285 wheels in the back. I am holding out for 18" gunmetal/black/polished bullits.

Wow you read my mind. I was looking at those wheels last night. Well not tthose exact ones but they were from privat but I thought they were a little on the narrow side. I was planning on e-mailing them to see if they could make a set of their wheels in 19 by 10.5 or 19 by 11 if they would fit.

It will be plenty wide for me, I just want to make sure that they fit and dont stick out past the fender.

8.5 wide rim with 35 offset would look wonderful.
That would not stick out the fender at all. The stockers are pretty deep in the fender, because the 45 mm offset was designed for a 9 or wider rim.

Any time you add a rim that has that "deep dish" kinda look with a wide exterior chrome rim, it really toughens up the car's look. I like them and will be looking for something similar at some point. The new car really needs some wider meats out back.

Anyone thinking about getting a wider Privat wheel, email them with whatever wheel you're looking at and they will give you an ETA if they are planning on making your wheel with a higher offset.

The ones I want are 19 x 9.5 and they gave an ETA of approx 3 weeks.
