Got mine today and put them on when I got home. I alwys wanted something to go with the GT350 side stripe without using a snake!

Man you are so lucky to have that 3M stuff. I had to take my GT emblems off with fishing line, a hair dryer, and some WD-40. Took about an hour each side not including the prep i had to do on the '66 GT emblems. But your embelms look nice. Where did you get that side stripe done, i am looking for something new.

Looks like demand is driving up the price as they jumped to $109 at PPI

I fear installing these at the wrong height and at an angle. Any tips?

Check out Rich's photo's above. He used blue 3M tape and the "GT" emblems as a guide, works great.

Cut a peice of tape to the same size as the emblems. Position the peice of tape where you think you want it. Step back, check, adjust that peice of tape. Step back, check, adjust again until it's exactly how you want it. Then, take 4 other peices of tape and box it in. Remove the first peice of tape and you'll have a perfect frame to put the new emblem in.

What I used are those refrigerator magnets , like football team schedules which are fairly big. They're easy to reposition till you get it where you want it and because they have some thickness to them they also give the emblem something to sit on. I had the GT emblems so I put the magnet under them and put the new emblems on in the same spot , worked great ...
