Really? What about the sill plates?
Exterior.

OK fine, technically I did say "anywhere", but yes, it's on the sill plates, and quite possibly on the owners manual... yes, I know that certain interiors it's part of the seat design.

Point is, no emblems or MUSTANG molded into the bumper. When you see theis car, you know it's a Mustang and don't need a decal to figure it out.

I hate to to bring back an old thread but.......

Performance Parts Inc. Has these for $99.99/set now. They had been going for as much a $300/set. Just figured if any of you were still looking the lower price might help you out.

I understand the point being one of comparison, but personally I've got a hard time calling $100 for 3 square inches of plastic "a bargain". I must be too cheap.

How about "comparative bargain" maybe?

I'm in the camp that finds "Powered by Ford" on a Ford sort of stating the obvious though.

It's a plaque that comes w/ the Shelby GT, only that's a knock-off one.

I know that, I've got one, just wondering where that one came from. Kind of pisses me off. Are they making the numbered sill plates too?

The "Powered by Ford" Badges don't bother me much, but that dash plate is a little much. One thing I don't get is when people put things like that on a car making it appear to be something it is not.

But in the end....to each their own.

IMPORTANT: If you ordered your emblems through the link above please call and check your order. I called and they said the emblems are NOT in stock yet and when they do come in there is no guarantee that they will still be $100. I asked them what would happen if they were more than $100 and they said they would just ask me for the extra money to cover the emblems. They will not price lock them if you place your order now so please call them today.

Also there is a waiting list so that means there are only going to be a few sets available. The way i believe they are getting these emblems is they are buying Crate engines to sell and selling the emblems that come with them.

Oh yeah, THAT's legal and ethical..taking orders at an advertised price then stating "they may be more after we actually get some"....

This was not what I told you. I explained very clearly that we had run out of stock and expected more emblems in later next week.

Orders placed on-line would go into a backorder status and priced as currently posted -- not a penny more or less. What you see is what you pay. If you chose to wait until stock came in and was available, we would not guarantee future pricing... really simple. It was crystal clear and you stated that you understood. Amazingly, customers who've inquired via phone or email have been able to grasp the same theory without posting totally incorrect innuendo. They play by the rules, place their order and life is good. No need to play a martyr. There is no conspiracy or other nonsense behind our sales practices and groundless statements like these do nothing beneficial.

Yesterday, I called and asked if the emblems were in stock. They said that they had some pairs coming in next Wednesday from the west coast and that mine would be shipped out end of next week. The one set they had was split, so only one was used to replace one on a customer's car. He was very friendly and explained the entire process.
