Pony Grill Insert... Pics needed

I put my pony grill insert on today. The instructions didn't say much about the tabs on it. The ones that are bothering me are the tabs that have a matching lower tab. The instructions didn't really say exactly how those go on, and I have a feeling I didn't do it right. If someone could give me some closeups that would be great. Unless you're looking at it from head on and crouched, you can see the top tabs that are closest to the fog lights.

Thanks

My grill insert didn't have tabs. It screwed in with bolts. Sorry!

Are you talking about the one from WebElectricProducts?

When I put mine on a couple of weeks ago those "tabs" really bothered me. I kept trying to figure out how they were supposed to go onto the honeycomb. Then I realized that they are alignment tabs such that the honeycomb grill stays on the outside of the tabs. They fit fairly tight so that the grill is aligned properly from side to side (ie: centered on the grill).

I'm working from dark am to dark pm so I can't get any pics today. But I'll take some on Saturday morning and post them for you provided no one else has.

Steve,
Don't want to jump on somebody else's thread, but I believe I know what you are talking about. Here is an older picture of mine. If you are talking about those two tabs close to the fogs, then yes, this is how mine appears as well...

Mike

Alright, that's what mine looks like, too. Guess I'm just being ****. I may pull it out one day and paint them satin black. But probably not, 'cuz I'm pretty lazy. I can live with it. My girlfriend didn't seem them until I pointed them out.

Just paint them flat/satin black and they simply go away. I done mine like this and never looked back.
