I have chrome Y2K Cobra R rims on my 90 GT Vert. It's left outside under a cover but some times I get water stains on the rims when it rains hard. I use FLITZ polish and it works awesome!!! Takes just about every thing off and leaves a bright shiney finish. Also give some of the Mother's wheel polish products a try. I've used them and they work good too, plus their a little cheaper and you can buy them locally. Just make sure to read the lable to make sure you get one that is safe for your type of rim.

I use Mother's powerball with Metal polish. Works pretty good but Frank, it does not get into the small areas around the lug nuts. I am going to get my hands on the Fritz product and try it out.

Mother's has a wheel cleaner that works pretty good. Called Mother's FX Instant Wheel Cleaner. Comes in a red spray bottle, haven't seen it in the retail stores had to get it from a local auto paint store.

adrenalin, you prob run into the same problem with the Flitz polish as you do with the Mothers unless you use it by hand to get into the small areas. Flitz also makes a similar product to the power ball and it works well but I usually go over the wheel by hand when I'm done to make sure I got all the small areas.

i used mothers billet polish its designed for billet wheels, after you get them looking as clean as there going to get use a nice wax on them and that should help them stay clean a little longer and make it easier to clean each week so you dont have to polish but once every 3 to 6 months or so

I wax my wheels. Remember that most polished wheels are shot with clearcoat, so you are polishing the clearcoat, not the aluminum. If they are not clearcoated, I am lost, but for all the wheels I have had, they all have been clearcoated, so I take care of them the same way I would paint.

AR TT2's are not clear coated. I hate clearcoated rims, they start to crack and oxidize
