I took it out for a spin. Sure got a lot of looks but as I sat at a red light I heard a guy say to his girlfriend "Look at that riced out mustang"
That nearly broke my heart, but then the light turned green and I was smiling again.
I had a guy tell me that paining my calipers was rice.

I used a deburrer (spelling) and then primed the cut area to prevent oxidization (not that I really expected any).
When aluminum oxidizes, it actually just forms a layer that protects the rest of the metal, unlike when iron oxidizes (rust).

The next time someone calls my car rice I will correct them by saying "The proper term is WILD rice"

Idiot question here:

How did you know where to center the cut-out on the hood?

Forgot: Man, that's aaaawesome.

This fell off
Looks awesome, bro.
Just a question. Is that functional? How would it affect a future S/C install?

Congradulations, but if you want help with modifing your shaker to put those mods back on, shoot me a PM. We've already done one install with a C&L CAI.

Yes it is functional. Mine is an enclosed system so the only air getting throught to the throttle body is what is forced in from the shaker.

As far as a S/C setup the answer is yes. Contact CDC. They have a solution for the S/C.

wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the shaker to have CAI? would it be possible to have them both be functional?

This is how I incorporated the CAI into mine.

THAT LOOKS SWEET!!!

So are you gonna paint that baby?
I'm thinking you wont because of the awesome job you did rounding off the stripes around the shaker
