Yes, its a possibility but it will be down the road because of the time needed to prototype the louvers, to make real louvers that function the process is more involved when molding the hoods.

looks hot, but also a real good way to hydro-lock your engine. i dont get the point of these ram air hoods that don't add any power and don't have any water management built in?

The purpose is to feed a cool charge of air to the airbox or open filter, the S197 with the big front tires and wheel weels restricts the area available for the engine to pull from also these SC's are suspect to heat soak and this helps prevent that.

In 15 yrs of making ram air hoods we have never had a customer's car suffer hydro-lock so I'm not sure where your coming from on that statement.

I would be rather surprised if you can get enough water past the filter to cause any hydro-lock condition. Or another way to put it - if you have that much water getting in there - you have other really big problems. Like driving in a creek maybe...

Gee, how much water comes in through the grill and up from underneath now? In a hard driving rain everything is soaked so what's the diff?

Does water come throught the rear vents? From the underhood shots it looks like the vents are just open...and that part drips right over the exhaust manifolds...

It's built with racing in mind, Shelby only.

No #68 for the non Shelby yet, the #67 is available for the 05-07 GT or V6 Mustang.

The website hasn't been updated yet, give them a call, they can send you some pics of the #67 on a customer's V6 Mustang.

Interested in pricing on the '68 for the GT500. Should we arrange a group buy?

ok, I'm trying to decide between this '68 hood and the DTS-2 hood from Trufiber. They are similar in looks alone.. price is very different. Why on earth are the prices so different between these two? They are both functional. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=70297

Comments anyone?
