Great looking stripes. I've always preferred the Super Snakes. Although I never knew what to refer to them as.

If I was going to stripe my car I would definetly be copying you. I wouldn't worry about it though, not too sure it would look the same on a redfire GT.

Bill, I was just talking earlier about how I couldn't find a good body shop in the area that was reputable. And I was starting to get a little worried that I wouldn't find a good place to paint black stripes on my car. You have no idea how happy your post made me. Thanks for the testimonial. Sounds like a place that takes pride in their work. Can't wait to see the finished product.

stoped in at the body shop ,looks real nice. they did good job! but, john the owner quoted me new price $2000 to paint my mustang.that way to high $1400 that a good price even $1600 would be good.

What are the actual dimensions of the stripes and gaps. Are you going to do rocker panel stripes.

Hey Kelly, there is another good shop that does good custom striping and that's the tallmadge collision just east of the tallmadge circle, up from taco bell. They did a buddy's corvett and it turned out great. They wanted 1700.00 and after Copley did mine, I think they got into more than they thought as well and I believe they are up to that range of price. For the work that they have to do, 1700.00 is still worth it. Wait till you see it in person, it really grabs you. Also, they sent me some final pics so I will post them shortly, just after this response.

The stripes are 11" middle tapering out to almost 13. There is a 2" gap between the 2 3" stripes. I could never find the exact SS stripe dimension so I basically winged it with what I had to work with, dimension wise between the front fog lamps and the rear license plate, which I wanted to make sure the 2 outside stripes went beyond the license plate indentation area. Turned out "SWEET"... Pics don't do this justice.

Well, while I was gone, the guys sent me some final pics. I will add some of my own tomorrow after I pick it up but these are pretty good as well. (I am surprised that John raised the price that high. That is a bit high in my opinion. He told me around 1700.00 the last time I talked to him which was last saturday. He did say the guy that does that work is slow and meticulous??? Maybe he had to adjust for the time the person spent doing the work...I will find out more tomorrow. Anyway, enjoy the pics.
