Pics of Ducktail with pedestal wing

I am about to order a cervinis pedestal wing to go with my CDC ducktail, I have been on the fence on this for months, can you guys post as many pics as you can find from all different angles, I have looked at every pic in the s-197 style 69 thread, so anything else you guys can dig up along with your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I keep getting flak from people saying, two spoilers would look horrible, but to me the ducktail, its just like an extention of the trunk and not so much a spoiler. And as i look at some of these old machs and boss, the rear end looks similar to my ducktail but is is all fiberglassed in. So to me it the best way to get that authentic look, better then just adding a black spoiler to the trunk.

I'm not a fan of the look. Personally, I think it looks like the owner couldn't make up their mind as to what direction they wanted to go with the rear end, so they did both. Looks very awkward.

It looks like this and I have to admit it looks a littls strange but I think if you molded the ductail spoiler into the body at a body shop and then had the other spoiler it wouldnt look strange at all it would look awesome. Because then it would look basically like the ductail was part of the body but it would have to be a spoiler that had a smaller lip and would mesh in easily imo

Don't know about that idea, To me it looks like cuts up the stream line a bit to much. Not saying anything wrong with it,But I think I'd pass on that one.

well, what do you think it would cost to fill the holes in my trunk, if I removed the ducktail?

i personally think that if you like it you should do it and i think if you molded the ducktail into the body using like fiberglass resin then this would actually look pretty kickass.

yeah it would! do you think it would be cheaper to fiberglass it then to repaint it? what do you think that would cost? thanks

" Keep in mind, I will blacking out the top of the trunk, so it will look a bit more seamless.

I think the 'problem' with getting that look is the S197 doesn't have the 'true' fastback look of the '68-70 mustangs. It has more in common with the '65-66 fastback. Or so goes my opinion on the subject. Does that mean if I got a new Mustang I won't pull cues from various gens of Mustang... of course not I'd make it my own, which is exactly what you should do

I agree, the S197 was styled after the 65-68 (more 67-68 if you ask me) if the quarters had hips it would look more like the 69-70 thus looking better with this mod. I know cervinis tried to emulate the 69-70 quarter caps and trunk but it doesn't seem to fit this bodystyle to me anyway.
