I am thinking of changing my order from a GT to the V6 but I am not real pleased with the look of the V6 with stock 16" wheels/tires. Can some of you post pics of your V6 with aftermarket wheels/tires.

Here is a pick of some black Bullit rims I bought through Ford Racing. They are 17x8's with 235/55's on them.[attachmentid=15602]

Wouldn't ANY wheel/tire combination that you can put on a GT also be possible on a V6?

That looks great Grimlock, that is exactly what I'm looking for. I have a 05 Sonic GT on order from 03/05/05, was thinking of changing order to a V6 an just picking up the 17" bullitt wheels of ebay.I could change the order to a V6 premium and keep all the other options the same and save about $4500 dollars. What did the wheels/tires cost you, if you don't mind me asking. I guessing around $1,000.

I paid $650 for mine, plus shipping. I've seen them on eBay from between $600 and $800 plus shipping.

These wheels are 17" 2000 Bullits in polished Aluminum from Ford Racing. I paid 800.00 for the set. I put Pirelli Nero Zero 235. 65/ 17's on them.

A little window tinting tomorrow. Bronze, I think.

I was thinking of some white side stripes, but I'm not sure I'm going to go for that now.....

What do you guys think?

I think some white stripes would definately look nice. I plan on going with black stripes on mine since I have the dark charcoal interior.

Something like this:

I put these 17 in Bullitts I bought off eBay onto my wife's Redfire V-6. They totally look so much better than what came on it, and fill up the wheel well openings so much nicer.

Grimlock just cost me $630 plus shipping!

I have a Mineral Grey V6 with the sport appearance graphics and will soon have dual GT mufflers and some 17" bullit rims with tires I just snaked from another bidder at the last second of ebay auction 7966882148

I seriously can't wait to see how sweet my v6 looks with the bullits, the dual tailpipes, and my dark tint job.

You won't be disappointed. Mineral Grey and Bullits just go so well together. Plus, ditching the minivan tires and going with the 17"s will really make a difference in handling.

I don't know if these qualify as aftermarket wheels, but I got the silver Bullit wheels (Ford Racing catalog) put on my V6 and wrapped them with Nitto NT 450 255/50/17 tires. I also bought the pony spinner caps. The car handles a lot better now and looks beefier I think.
