Pic of Black Billet overaly grille on Black GT
Does anyone have a picture of a black billet grille (overlay) on a Black or dark colored GT. I don't really like the look of the honeycomb. I also want to keep the car relatively "blacked out", so I am not considering the polished/chrome overlay.
I really want what everyone else wants: a replacement billet grille that keeps the fogs in the factory location with the factory pony. Obviously, that won't happen anytime soon, so the black overlay is the next best thing.
So, please post pics only of a black overlay "billet" grille with the factory fogs and factory pony (no street scene please).
Thanks in advance

I have seen it, but I want to keep the factory fogs and the factory pony. IMO, the CDC looks like a base V6 grille. If it had mounting options for the fogs, I'd be all over it. In regard to the Street Scene's, I don't like the "mesh" look.
I just can't stand the honeycomb. the honeycomb is too hard to always keep clean from bugs, and the plastic looks cheap on the car. I had a 2000, on which i put the grille delete kit on. But, there is too much grille to do anything like that on the s197's.

you like that? one of my managers bought a couple of those for some of our cars, it was like nails-on-chalkboard every time I drove in to work and saw those in the lineup.
They are thin square tube stock and don't fit all that great around the pony. I would imagine in black you could see the plastic grille pretty clearly with bright light on it. I would pass on that and do something else or a real billet grille.
