Painting radiator cover

See all this junk behind the non-existant billet grille? I want to paint it so it doesn't stick out. I was think black semi-gloss. What's yalls opinions?

Flat black would be best. That's what I did. You don't want ANY sheen at all or you'll see everything back there.

So what you see in the pic I posted, everything gets painted black? Or just the radiator cover?

I simply used Krylon BBQ grille paint, flat black and everything will simply fade away from behind your grille.

Well, everything but the horns I guess. I'm not sure what you're calling the radiator cover. I see the bare aluminum radiator and the bare aluminum a/c condenser. I also see the oil cooler lines which are also bare aluminum. Even though my car is black, I did the radiator support since it was gloss black like the rest of the body. I didn't want to see ANYTHING behind that giant GT500 grill. I turned out great IMHO. Once you get the grill installed everything will fade away as your eye will be drawn to the grill itself and not distracted by the light aluminum or gloss black behind it.

Yeah I don't know why I kept calling it a radiator cover, my bad. I'll wait and see how it is with the grille when it comes in, next Tuesday.

Is it a black grill or an aluminum grill? If it's aluminum you'll never see through it because of the contrast.
