Would it be possible to mix the duplicolor black and red to make a color close to redfire?

Any tried this?

Since they are basically the same paint, yes you can mix them. Someone already mixed blue with silver to get more of a WB colour.

For what its worth, I have been painting both brake drums and calipers for 35 years or so with just good non hi temp paint, shoot when I first started Im not sure if there was much for hi temp stuff. Never had any problems with the paint not staying on.
Anyway, I ordered 2 16qz aerosol cans of redfire paint and painted mine with them. Looks great on my redfire w polished bullits.

Do you have a closer pic of it? It still looks kind of off the color of the car. But it's probably the lighting.

Also what emblem do you have underneath the GT?

Here is a shot in the shad.. any dif in color is due to not clearcoating the calipers yet.
