Painted washer nozzles

Painted washer nozzles
I decided to paint my washer nozzles over the weekend. Removing them was easy. I applied 2 coats of adhesion promoter, 3 coats of color and 1 coat of clear. I think it looks cleaner now instead of having two black nipples on my hood.

I might paint my Sirius satellite antenna on the rear decklid next. Undecided still. Would have to sand down the grainy finish until smooth and then paint it.

Got to admit, a very cool looking mod!! Excellent painting results. We too, also have the black Sirius Frog on the deck lid. Wonder if painting it, will somehow affect the signal's strength?? Let us know if you do decide to paint your Sirius frog also (pixs). Thanks for sharing. CalStang

I painted my Sirius antenna last year. No problems with reception at all.

Wow! That looks really good. Now I'm really going to paint mine. No more debating it. The only thing I read that would affect reception is if metallic paint was used to paint the antenna. Grabber orange isn't metallic so it didn't affect your reception.
By the way, did you sand yours smooth before painting? Looks like it's smooth in the pic.

Out of curiousity how did you get the cover to come off? Aside from the bolt that holds it to the deck lid are there screws that hold on the cap? Does it snap on? Or is it glued?

I did mine too........
About 6 months ago, washer thingy's, and antena (sp ) ( beer ) base, the front lower bumper insert thingy's, and the raditor support cover thing, and while I was at it, my cell phone too
