The painted ones from CDC are black. I don't think they offer other colors. Too bad, I think they're losing business.

I want gloss black to match my paint, not matte black.

Unfortunately, the don't offer anything but the matte black... I wouldn't let that stop you from getting it though... It is an excellent quality/fitting product and should only cost you about $100 to get it painted at a local paint shop... That's what I did..... I love mine!

California always seems to be more expensive than the rest of the Country but I had mine painted to match for $165 and installed it myself. I only takes about 15 minutes to do. I'm very happy with the quality of both CDC pieces that I have.

Being that 98% of all bodyshops here are of "questionable citizenship" and I wouldn't trust them to spraypaint a bullseye on a trashcan, that's why I'm having second thoughts.

I can just see taking it in, them completely screwing it up, and saying "oops, where is our money?"

I'm set on buying one...I really like them. And I love the CDC ducktails, but, I have the factory spoiler and having a body shop deal with that issue right there is enough to give me the shakes.

Paint it yourself. These guys will send your factory paint color to you in an Aerosol Can. They sell the primer and clear too.

I actually just asked the guy from Spoilerfactory.com if they can get that part and ship painted.

The ducktail I have on the car is brand new and I got it from them - arrived extremely well done and have been nothing but pleased. They have a guy who can do a great job painting the SS products - so I figure he can do the CDC as well.
