Which mods to get
You can see in my sig what mods I currently have. I have about 2K to spend and I was wondering what all of you tought should be my priority. My next mod I think will be the FRPP 4.10's. Other than that, I am openminded to suggestions. Feel free to list performance or apperance mods. Thanks!
Well, if you spent all $2k on appearance, then I'd go with one of the body kits out there. If you wanted to go a little more conservative, you could get a chin spoiler, side scoops, 1/4 window louvers, lowering springs, spoiler and still have some money to spare. Or you could spend all $2k on new rims and tires.

Borla Catback, SCT, JLT II CAI, Springs ($1600-$1800 there if you have a shop do it) then when you decide $2K isn't enough, another $1000 on gears, ducktail, chin spoiler--

I've always been a firm believer that you should should get the suspension and handling down before you start packing on the power...IMO. Personally I love taking a corner doing 3 G's.

I'd go with brake rotors, performance pads, springs and dampers.
get the 4:10's they are worth it. if you want to do outside stuff find the best new front end you like and get that. i got the saleen one and i get a billion looks a day. and do some susp stuff. at tirerack.com they got the whole eibach set up for under 9 hun. springs swaybars shocks and struts. but you still need a panhard bar.
later and good luck

Thanks for the replies everyone, keep em' coming. Some of you mentioned about the intake/tuner package and exhaust. Note in my sig I already have the h-pipe, Mac axlebacks and the JLT xcal2 package.
I would add a CDC chin spoiler, classic or aggressive. (I prefer classic)
CDC ducktail w/thin brakelight fits at top of rear window.
Silver Horse Racing Honeycomb tail light panel cover.
GEF Legend Shelby style hood.

For $2K, I would first go with some suspension upgrades, to lower the car, and improve handling, then I would defintely go with the CDC Shaker system. There was an install step-by-step in the newest Mustang Monthly. I wasn't too keen on this mod, but the more I read it, I'm thinking of it for my car. Much better than fake hood scoops IMO! With what ever is left over, you can add a ducktail spoiler (SSE is my fav), or maybe redo the interior, get Katzkin leather in a different color, to make your car one-of-a-kind. Hope these ideas help. Good luck, and be ready to post many pics after your done with the mods.

I've seen you post about the custom, colored leather a couple of times. What is the price on that? Thanks for the insight.

Take the two grand and buy a winter beater!
Long term, it'll be money well spent.[/quote]
Ah, one step ahead of you on that one. Bought a 98 Lumina back in October as my winter beater for $1700. Excellent suggestion though....snowed here today, so it already saved me (picked up my car today).

Anyways, since this is posted in the Exterior Mods section of the forums you may want to consider if you want to go with a theme or not.
Wheels make a great impression on a car, body kits too of course.
Personally, with $2000 I would go with painting the hood and trunk lid, add rear window louvers and a chin spoiler and call it a day in the external mods department. I'd still have more than $750 left over for whatever else.

. Maybe he can add some insight to how much it would cost. If I do this, (and it won't be till later in the year at the earliest) I have to save some $$$ first. Thread
