Shotokan,

I've seen a handful of pics of all three of those painted, but cannot remember in which thread, hopefully someone who has one of these will post soon.

We just painted the Legend piece on our car... it is being unveiled a couple weeks from now at SEMA, and then I can post some before / after pictures of it both ways so you can see the difference. The only thing with any of them (doesn't matter the brand) is painting them is an invitation for stone chips down low. Ours is now a color (rather than the flat black they come) and picked up one stone shot in just 3 days of driving. Other people's results tend to be similar from my experience, so going flat black is good because it is very easy to touch up / hide.

BTW - we stock the Legend splitter with stainless hardware (nobody else includes the install hardware) and we can get the CDC pieces as well if you decide to go that route.

Actually have a question.. see how under the center of the stock bumper it is higher than the corners.. does the legend fill that gap or leave it open?

To answer the question that area is completely filled in, the Legend splitter follows the contours of the bottom of the bumper very well. Let me dig for a minute here for you...

Ok, here's a close-up from Mustang Week this year, you should be able to readily see how it fits in the lower reverse U-channel there in the bumper.\

HTH.
