I just put in my smoked front turn signals finally. I just got back on my feet after losing my job just as I made the decision to go back to college. Anyway.. I am finally getting back to modding my '05.

What I am looking for are headlight, foglight, turn signal choices. I would like to go HID and LED if I can work out the money situation for it all. But I honestly would like some opinions, options, etc.

Before I get blasted I have done a search of the forum but haven't come to anything concise. My '05 is a Mineral so I am thinking white lights would look best for the nose now that I have it smoked for the turn signals. I am thinking I might redo the headlights too because I'm still stuck on the painted bucket look but am not sure which ones are out there.

So please Stangers.. hit me up with an and all thoughts.

 

V6 or gt? I like mineral with the light blue tint lights.

 

GT. Bought it used a few years ago and it is pretty much stock. Red leather, shaker1000, Xenon rear quarter scoops and quarter window scoops and Web electrics sequential tails. Removed the stripes that ran over it and still have the GT 300 side stripe but I have plans on changing that out for something that resembles the Shelby versions but with a custom set of text instead of the GT 300, 350, 500 etc etc,

Rich was my inspiration for Mineral modding because he had the sickest looking Mineral on the site. I joined TMS when I bought the car and went right to the Mineral section and began getting ideas. Slow progress. lol.

 

Tint your fogs. Or the grille with the fogs behind the grille. Personally I like the headlights that AM has that are painted inside to match your car. And halo lights second.

 

I have LEDs in my fogs. Really cheap an plug right into the factory plug. They Dont put out any light really but they look like hids looking at them straight on.

 

I'm building a custom grille to make it match the 69 Mach1 grille so the fogs behind the grille are a no go. I'm actually looking for HID ideas for the fog/headlights. Like if anyone has some good suggestions for some lights and prices they compiled.

Probably should move this to the general chat to get more feedback from those who had the 05-09 and traded for the 10+.

Maybe a MOD can do it if they read this?

 

Personally I say blue LEDs in the fogs and lights.
