No drill front plate...
You can always move here to Connecticut. they don't require a front plate.........yet! But they will tax you to death, tax your new mustang every year you own it, then you won't be able to afford it, so you sell the stang and turn in the plates and then you don't have to worry about mounting them.....front or rear!!!
Nice brackets you fabled. Looks great but I just drill the bumper and mounted mine. Iast week I had my head somewhere else and was not completely out of the garage and let this door down on the bumper. real smart move.
Body shop says $512 to repair scratch so it will be a self touch up paint repair.

Okay everyone, lets all start thinking of a way to mount the front plates (for those that must) without drilling into our beautiful bumpers.
Has anyone fabricate some brackets that could mount under the bumper yet? I'd like to see some of your ideas.
I'm thinking of getting some plastic that bends at a 90 degree angle then drill underneath the bumper.
Maybe some strong velcro would hold? I'm not sure.

I lucked out. Forgot to ask the dealer not to do this but he didn't anyway.
I used a "plate holder" from my old Pontiac. No holes. No drilling (except for a piece of backing -- I used an old license plate). Very sturdy and wont/doesn't scrape the bumper at all. Can't see any of the backing and really worked out pretty well. If you want I'll provide a photo when I get out of work.
