New Vanity Plate and MAG Mirror Inserts

Wow! The mirror inserts from Midwest Auto Gear sure make a big difference in the appearance of my baby. The mirrors don't look like big black blobs anymore. I also got new personalized plates to go along with my GTA tribute mod. Funny thing, when I went on base one day last week, the gate guard said he liked my "Get a Pony" license plate!

Thats the only depressing thing to me is people at my work or a lot of places don't have a clue about Mustang heritage. I'm pointing out my new mods and there like,"what was wrong with the way it was"? I just give up and don't even bother anymore. It seems the only ones who notice anything are car enthusiasts. don't even get me started on the lowering... My wife says it looks the same Done ranting..Your car looks freakin awesome by the way

It is amazing how few enthusiasts there are anymore. It has to be the influence of the import rice burners that did it. Anyway, thanks for the compliment. I think it looks awesome too, but I am biased.

You'd be better off with a plate that says...

Wasn't the GTA only around in 67 and 68? That's a pretty slim margin over the life of the mustang to remember that GTA means GT w/ an auto tranny. Plus the only identifier was a GTA badge on the fender.

If I saw that plate I would probably think GeT A PONY too and I have a 69 and feel like I am pretty savvy on 65-73 mustangs. You gotta be in the right frame of mind when reading personalized plates anyways.

Close. It was a '67 feature only. Hmm. Could it be that '67 is my favorite year of classic stangs? YES!! I guess it works as GeT a PONY too... for those that wish they had one! hehehe
