I ended up starting the screws first, left them loose and then pulled the tape from there. Once it was seated I just tightned the screws.

I ended up plugging the top holes then put a bead of silicone around them to avoid any water leaks.

I also skipped the drilling for the second set of holes, especially when I noticed the holes would be coming through the welds on the edge of the undersode of the trunk. Didn't want to chance it. All seems good though.

I love the look Tom. Much 'sleeker' than the stocker.

Didn't take any pics last night when I finished up was pretty late, but gonna get some done today after I install my hood stripe.
