Smile A New Project For Silver Horse Racing

I wish someone would make a side emblem that was small and covered the holes where the GT badge goes that simply says, "S197"!

Maybe a chrome background with a blue stripe on top S197 in the middle and a red stripe on the bottom. I would buy it! Photoshop folks can jump in here.

S197

Well if you know this guy, run this idea by him. I don't think I would be the only buyer of this product.

I screwed up. The red should be on the top and blue on the bottom.

That looks awesome! About 1.25 X 4 inches ought to do it with 2 sided sticky tape on the back. If it had the alignment pins like the GT emblem that would be even better. Put me down for a set.

Was wondering if they can make something like this:
http://www.qualitymustangparts.com/fengtem19por.html
except instead of a red background a tungsten color.
Also it's gotta cover the stock holes and itd be great if it had pins to fit in to them. Is that possible?

All of which I like too - but that is very thin ice you're getting on with the Ford blue oval and all that...

Of course, a lot of the copyright and trademark stuff across the border tends to fly right under the radar....

The S197 I think is fair game, and the photoshop looks really nice. But that said, honestly we're jammed up at the moment, not to say I don't like the idea

Yeah, I'm kind of leaning towards that powered by Ford emblem. I ordered one from partscheap and I'll see how it looks when it comes in.

You're welcome to get in contact with Thomas at http://www.think3d.biz and send him that image I photoshopped. I know right now he's working on some 281 w/chevron emblems, but he can probably quote you something.

Sorry, I'm just the image guy on this thread :-)

another SHR 'wishlist' item:

Personally, my idea of the 'perfect hood scoop' for these cars would be the 69 cougar eliminator...I bought a decent OEM one(after getting a POS aftermarket piece) and cant decide if I want to grind it to match the hood- or just keep it for my 69...Ideally I think a 75% scale version of this scoop would be perfection...I kinda like Roush's, but dont care for the rounded rear corners...all the old school stuff was kinda more squared off like the Boss429/eliminator...whatta ya think Marcello- feel like making another mold? love your new louvers!
