New Mustang Sun Roof!

Sorry but no. Call me old school (I've been called worse!) but I'll just stick with the windows on the side, front and rear of the car. Looking up while driving should be discouraged. B)

Yeah, but, people need something to amuse themselves while talking on the cell phone.

I had a sunroof on my previous car. I don't think I ever used it to look out of while driving, but it did provide an open feeling to the interior. That's why I want the Glassback roof. Get the open feeling on the inside with the coupe appearance on the outside.

Here is the link to the EVO sunroof website, still no detail on cost though but at least it closes on the INSIDE !!

Sorry - it just looks too generic / aftermarket to me...
If it at least went over the tops of the driver and passenger seats, I might consider it. That means it would have to be a good 10" wider.

If it was a factory option, I surely would have taken it. Cutting the roof on a car I am still paying for makes me queasy.

i feel the same way. plus, if the car was black it wouldn't be a hard decision...but since my car is white it sticks out so much that it's a hard decision.

The problem with this and all the other aftermarket roofs is that they sit ABOVE the roof line of the car. The installers cut a hole, then drop the whole unit in from the top....kind of like the way you'd install a sink in your kitchen countertop. There's a flang around the whole unit that covers the cut line and keeps the unit from falling through the hole. Because of this design, the glass of the sunroof actually sits higher than the metal of the roof itself.
