New Mods/Pics of Natasha...
Well it's been awhile since I've posted pics or updates. Work has slowed down on her a bit since the Saleen S/C'er install as that was a big financial hit but progress is starting to pick back up.
I installed a Street Scene center fog light grill complete with a retro Shelby emblem to finish the look of Natasha. The finish of the grill is black powder coat and overall I'm very happy with the fit and finish. It comes with nice wire extensions that plug right in and help you avoid having to stretch the stock fog light wires. I want to thank our own parts guru Kevin for getting me a great deal w/ super fast shipping! On a side note I painted the mesh in the RK Sport California Dreamin hood black to match the other grills as many of you suggested before and you guys were right! It looks way better and matches the other grills.
I also installed the matching SS lower speed grill to protect the intercooler of the Saleen. It also installed easily and really helps to tie the front end together.
Through Hatchmans powder coating thread, I was able to get a set of FRPP wrinkle blue valve covers that really helped to sharpen up the engine bay. It was a fairly simple job to install and for anyone curious as to the quality of the FRPP covers they are very well finished and a super dress up for the engine bay.
As for whats next... A Ram Clutch is on the way as mine is fading fast. I guess the stock unit doesn't care for 500 ponies. Also the stock brakes are getting freshened up as they don't do such a good job in the Whoa department.
I'm going with powerslot rotors, SS lines and better fluid.
Kevin also set me up with a GT 500 twin fuel pump assembly. I am right on the edge as far a fuel goes and would like to see my fuel pressure stronger throughout the RPM band. It will bolt in the tank with no problems but the wiring doesn't match up. Not to worry though as JDM is working on a wiring harness solution to make it plug and play. It is a joint effort with once again our very own Kevin helping out.
Well it's been a lot of blood, sweat and tears since my project started way back in October of 2004 but Natasha is starting to take on her finished form....
