Man I would love to attend TMS meet...The reality is I probably won't be able to. I may have to attend via satellite. lol Who knows though I have been known to get in the car and take off for a "vacation" in the past.

Looking great, I would put on a CDC classic chin spoiler, paint those mirrors and probably unsmoke your fog and headlights, and perhaps get a set of saleen HID's, and that car would be everything I could ever want well amost haha

Nice! I still don't like the idea of the cobra badges, but it's your car

How do you like the Saleen blower? Did you change any of the internals, I heard it's not too safe running over 450rwhp.

I can't decide between the KB, Whipple and Saleen blower.

Got any sound clips of our car?

The CDC classic chin spoiler is the last exterior mod...I am going to paint it gloss black and run the stripes down it ( dedicated to Ian...lol)

I love the Saleen...It is a very well designed kit with top notch parts and probably the best installation instructions I have ever seen. Almost anyone with basic wrench turning skills could bolt this sucker on which is a huge cost saving benefit.

My internals are still stock and I'm right on the edge. I have the GT 500 twin fuel pumps ready to install (when a wiring solution is found), which will solve fuel delivery issues. JDM has the best tunes in the business and the most experience with the 05/Saleen set-up's...I feel that I am in great hand's. That being said I know it could let loose at any time. I get oil samples done to help monitor the motor and perform all maintenance religiously. I will be getting a custom built shortblock by JDM and going nut's with it. A preview of whats to come: Manley "I" beam rods, J&E Pistons, custom billet crank, fully balanced & blueprinted, ARP hardware, Ported & Polished heads w/ hot Comp Cams...Then I will turn up the boost to 18 lbs and chase it w/ 150 shot of nitrous. That ought to get-r-done...

As for the emblem's I know it rub's many the wrong way, and I respect that...I always wanted a 68 Shelby and this was the best way for me to do it. Mine was built before Ford's unveiling of their new Shelby so I guess one could ask themselves who copied who....

Sorry no sound clips right now...

Yeah, Jay's was the first S197 with the words SHELBY on it, so in reality, Ford copied him. Jay should be getting royalties from Carrol himself!

Question Different SSE center fog grille?

Comparing your grille to the one reviewed by 'adrenalin', there seem to be some big differences (your grille has a much finer mesh, looks metal?), but they're both Street Scenes??

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=49055

I'm confused which ones are which, and how to tell which one you'll get from certain websites.

Is this your's?

By the way, I like yours the best of any I've seen -- get it through ClevParts?

Thanks

Yes. SS has two grilles now. The one Vegasjay has is made of expanded metal like you'd find at a hardware store.
The new SS grille is plastic and made to look like the stock grille.

Hey, Justin, you have a nice car! My brother and I saw it a couple of weeks ago at the MCA show. I broght my blue '98 and my brother had his Screaming Yellow '05 (the one that was parked next to you until you had to move...again). You have really done a great job putting it together. Anyone who hasn't seen it in person is missing out.
