What do you think of using this grille screen to make a new grille? It's looks a lot more like the original Mustang grille than the stock one. Would the screen look too small & thin though now that we're used to the thick plastic on modern Mustangs?

I'd have to cut everything out of the stock grille (just leaving the "frame") and then find a way to attach this in there.

It's from an F750 truck and the screen is a seperate piece from the other parts of the grille. I'm still trying to find out if it can be purchased seperately.

Compare it to the original Mustang grille.

I personally like it. And I bet it would be a heck of a lot easier to clean than the stock '05 grille.

I think the Billit grill is the way to go. I'm waiting for one in black....

Technically, I think I'll be getting the SSE grille with the centered fog lights. And then I would get the lower grille in the bumper from SSE in black to match. That would be way in the future, but that's what I'm aiming for.

Actually, the more I look at it inperson, the less I like it. It's so thin I think it would all but disapear. Also from looking at pictures of '65 Shelbys, it looks like there's no grille at all.

I also considered the SSE grille, but being as I work around expanded metal, it just looks cheap to me. Maybe if I never would have worked where I do, I'd feel differently.
