That hood looks awesome...it'll look even better once you have on a body kit or lower it. The Z looks nice too.

3.5"
that doesnt sound right, if the cowl is 3.5" high how can the induction screen also be 3.5" high? The pics show another story, it must be shorter.

Sorry, you're right. The opening where the screen is is 2" high by 33.5" wide.

When you get a chance could you take some pictures of the under side of the hood. Possibly one full and one running down the edge so I can see the side rails to see if the hood lifts would mount correctly.
Thanks!!
Here ya go, let me know if you need more. I put these up on my hosting account and left the pictures larger so you can see more detail.

Is the underside made of fiberglass? Do you think the sides would be stron enough to hold up to the hood struts? Thanks for the pictures again!

Honestly, I don't know what the underside is made of. It's painted black and I can't see what the material is. Contact visracing.com and I'm sure they'd be able to tell you. Yes, I think it would be strong enough to hold up the hood struts.

After driving with the hood for almost a week now, I definately think that it will need hood pins. Anything faster than 80 and the sides of the hood start to baloon a little and I can see it shaking.

I really like the shape of that hood vs the steeda one! Only thing is I want black not CF. Think they could make one preped for paint?

Also would this hood match up perfectly with the WMS intake and ram air tray? Seems like it since the intake in center mounted.

I don't know if they would send it preped for paint, I doubt it. You could always do this aftery ou get it though. The hood fits like a glove and you should have no problem with your WMS intake. It would at least fit better than the steeda hood since the cown on this one is much wider.
