Check out this hood! One-piece $460. I found it over at the Mustangworld forum.
There are some pics of the hood towards the bottom of the thread that are painted.

As others said, when it'd functional, it'll be worth considering. I do like it though and I like the black paint scheme on the sonic blue.

Definately like the paint job but, I hate how all the aftermarket hoods have no holes for the windshield washer jets. What's up with that? Hey aftermarket companies...pay attention......windshield washer jets. Most of us need them!

I hate that hood! It just does not look like it goes with the new lines of the hood. I'm spoiled by the hoods on the concepts. I will wait till Ford gives us that hood on the new Cobra. Wishfull thinking maybe.

ugly and overpriced...you can get the same if not better look (imo) from the cdc scoop which is alot cheaper and you get those nifty integrated turn signals too!!!

I do agree, it needs to be functional, for my taste. There are some here that don't care if it's funtional. I do mods that have a purpose other than asthetics.
It's is a whole hood and not just a scoop, so of course it will cost less. I like how it comes down the hood further than the CDC. I don't need the turn signal indicators on the hood to know that my blinker is on.

I think it looks good, if it was functional and wasn't too heavy, it could make an interesting addition.

I don't think it would be too hard to make it functional, but there's too much air under the hood now at high-speeds.

That scoop looks ridiculous, IMO. The only scoop that looks like it "belongs" on the '05 is the Roush scoop. Yes I HATE the rest of of the car too, but at least they went with traditional (65/66 Shelby) on the scoop. The only two things I'd change are it's functionality, of course and it looks stupid how the leading edge slopes back. Looks too much like an '01-'04 scoop in the front.

Love the way it curves around at the back... again ala 65/66 Shelby.
