Yep...it looks as deep as a pearl without the glaze effect. At a distance, you don't even see it unless the sun if reflecting on it...but get closer and it becomes a great "detail effect". Just the effect I was seeking.....you have to look for it to "see" it...and when you finally do, it's awesome!
Great Doug...glad you like it!!!

Just a head's up regarding the rear "faux gas cap" emblem... and not trying to take away from Bill's possible business... but unlike the grille pony, the rear decklid cap can be taken off from the outside of the car within a few seconds and without setting off the alarm. Just something to keep in mind, if you worry about such things.

I wonder if one of these ponies would look ok on my 80 stang?

Could you do one black with carolina blue flames? I have the paint code for the blue if needed. I'll think about purchasing one of these & get back to you.

Yeah I saw that after I posted :worship:

I'm ordering that one just to have it, probably won't mount it.

You will do custom work? I saw the checkered flag one you have (on the website) that's on a silver background. Could you put the background as vista blue with the checkered flag?

There's just so many ideas I can think of Your work is AMAZING!! I have a PM coming your way too

Yes , we do custom work!!!! Everythings custom at some point......I can do any design you want on any color ( now if someone told me they wanted something specific and I didnt think it would look good I'll tell you too) but then again, I have heard what I was sure was a crazy idea but it turned out killer too.

thanks for the compliments!!

It would look very sweet....maybe throw in just a tad of blue for highlights too. It would be subtle till you got to about 25 feet...then it would really come into its own. And with candies and pearls the effect would be really cool on silver too

Hey Bill... Just received the pony (satin silver w/ checkered flag) I ordered from you this week.... Awesome.... It looks great! I'm putting this one in my office (not on my car) with the other mustang things I have... It deserves to be displayed! I do, however, want you to create a new pony for me that will accent my ride. I would have installed the one I purchased from you already, but there was a little more purple in it than I thought... Something along the lines of the satin silver pony in the previous post or the skeleton pony on black that you did might look great... Let me know what suggestions you have....

Look at the checkered flag on blue pony I posted....We could do that on a silver base. The one above would be really cool too!. Jsut email me and we will work out the color combos ( and you get a volume discount ;-) I have several of them I've done mounted in shadow boxes in my office ( thanks Teena) they make awesome decorations too!!!

...and here it is installed. Subtle, and just the effect I wanted (obviates the need for an aftermarket grill, too).

Indeed it is. A deep, dark, matching black that looks great up close, and virtually disappears at anything much over 15'. I'm something of a minimalist.
