New bling for outside!
New bling for outside!
Well I decided to take off the drilless brackets, and put on a nice frame on the bumper itself. i used double sided tape to attach license plate to frame, then put adhesive rubber padding on the back of everything so it would'nt rub up the bumper. The frame actually is about half on the bumper and half hanging, The bumper if bent though at the plate area, so I had to carefully bend the frame and license plate to keep it nicely rounded and a good countour to the bumper. I took off some brackets i got from someone on here. So if anyone needs a pair of brackets, let me know Ill give you a good deal. Well hope you like. Now I just need to buy another one for the back, LOL. forgot need two.
no I attached the plate to the frame itself with doublesided tape to keep it tight. Then I put rubber padding on the back section where it all touches the bumper. This had adhesive on the back so just cut some pieces and squared off the section that would touch the bumper. Then I drilled the normal holes. Attached with frame screws and special locking caps. So attached like normal just extra taping to keep it nice and tight. I also had to bend everything to keep it tight with the body, that is why I wanted to make it all tight as possible. Thanks for the comment
p.s. there is no tape at all to the bumper only to the frame and plate itself.
Added the back license plate frame today!!!
