No man, that looks good.
It matches the colour of the light housing really well.

I'll get a can and try it without the spray first to see how it looks, but I have a feeling I'll be spraying it to keep the black uniform across the rear.

VERY nice !!!!!! I like those wheels, are they the 19" AM GT500 rims ? Love the polished whipple along with the blue cam covers. I like your hood also, whole car is very well done. Like the way you have your mods listed, never saw that before.

Thanks! Yes, those are the AM GT500 wheels. I bought the GT500 center caps and installed them instead of the ones that came from AM. Don't like those. The front ones are 18x9 and the back ones are 18x10. I have a extra set of the rears with some Nitto drag radials for a total of six matching wheels. I had all the empty space under the hood and I just had to do something with it. I got points taken off from me and ended up with 2nd place at a car show in KC because I didn't have a list of my mods and I thought putting them under the hood would be better than having them on a placard on a tripod that would get blown around by wind or kicked over by people, etc.

I think that new addition of the mods list should add bonus points to the judges instead of the standard placard. I mean those things arent always the clearest to read but those decals make it unmistakeble. How well are they holding up with the heat from the motor though? I assume that cowl hood is functional right? Lol

No, the cowl is not functional. I needed it for clearance for the blower and for better heat release. The decals are high quality vinyl from the same material as my rally stripes. They hold up quite well.

Ok so its functional in a couple ways lol
But still its a really well put together package. From front splitter to the exhaust tips IMO one of the most well thought out and put together S197's on the site.

The only and i mean only thing i could say id change is put an overall fatter tire out back to fill the wheel arch more, and put some 5 spoke black with chrome lip and spoke edges rims on there. But thats just for my personal touch. Im sure others will agree its a great mustang any of us would be proud to own.

My advice though: Never Sell lol

I actually got first place at Blacktop Nationals this past year. Kind of a big deal held each year in Wichita. It blew me away...

Looks very familiar. And very nice too. I really need to buckle down and either finishing building my center panel or purchase the Saleen one.
