Need your opinions on wheels

OK folks I am looking to get some new rims soon and need some advice and opinions. I am looking at these rims from American Muscle,Chrome mustang bullit deep dish 18x9 or 18x10. I know most people put 18x9 on the front and 18x10 in the back. I know that looks good, but I want to be able to rotate my tires to get the most wear I can, espesually since the tires are so expensive at over $200 a tire. So I'm leaning towards getting either 18x9 or 18x10 all around. I think the 18x10 would look good all aorund, and would look agresive up front too.WHat do you all think?

As for tires wear, I think it's important to be able to rotate the tires, if I rotate them evey 5,000 miles I can get like 45,000 to 50,000 miles on a set of tires. THe rear tires usually get a sharp edge on them when you dont rotate them and the fronts tires get a feathered edge. So you all that have the 18x10 in back and 18x9 in front, how do your tires wear? Do you have to replace the fronts or back more often ?

If you looking to rotate them, then maybe 255's all around on 18x9's, that seems to be a popular size.

I agree, if you drive your car daily, I do not then rotating them will help your wallet 25K-30K miles down the road.

Matt how do your tires wear since you have the 18x9/18x10 setup?

I havent had my current setup that long so its hard to tell. Its my daily driver for now, But I never rotated my Pirellis and I got an easy 20k+ miles out of them.

That is the setup on my daily driven Roush and it has been keeping well by rotating every other oil service.

Roush has been running 18 x 10s with BFG or Cooper rubber for a couple years now all the way around. The tires are all at 275 40 ZR18. If the car is lowered and one does a lot of cornering, the Roush setup may be best. The offset, I am not sure of, and the Rims are made by Roush to fit. In using another manufacturer for the Rims, it would be wise to bring the car in and test fit the rim first, if possible.

Hey Tim - I'd say go 18 by 9s all around for the ease of rotation and go with Nitto 555s in 255/45/18s

I had the Nittos on my black 05 and can't say enough about them - they took some abuse and held up GREAT - and they are decently priced - get them from Discount Tire

275/40s would be good all around as well - BUT if you are not lowered and at stock height, that would probably make your rear fender well gap looker larger than it is now. the 255/45s would be better

wheels are wheels. you pick what you like. As for staggered, i dont suggest it unless its purely for looks. I run 18X9.5 all the way around with 275/40's with no spacers or stops. WOrks great for me.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you planning on getting the 18x9's from?
