You could always paint the rear panel stock...and paint the ducktail gloss black!






Then you could send the ducktail to me. That work?

From the 2 pictures shown, I like the original but I also don't think the black looks bad enough to change again. If you add stripes in the future, your black will contrast the stripe. Just my 2 Cents.

 

Is it painted? Then I would let it be. The Matte Black on the Wife’s is awesome! It shows the rainbow of colors in the Sunlight. We would never even consider removing. I'll have to remember to get a picture of that before the dark days set in.
