Need Opinions
OK tell me what you guys think...I want to do 2 sliver or platinum racing stripes with a red pin stripe up each one. I did a quick pshop. So let the flamming begin!

I think it looks fine, but you will get people who like it and people who hate it.
What matters is what you think - but I know that until you see it in person, you may be on the fence.
Keep in mind that if you are going with tape stripes, it would be easy enough to put the silver down first, and add the red pin stripes. If you don't like the red pin stripes, you can easily remove them.

Red454 is correct.
There will always be people that love it and some will hate it. The most important thing is do you like it.
Personally I would keep the center gap around 1 1/2 - 2 " wide ( your photoshop gap is pretty wide ) and the stripes themselves need to be wider.
Go check out the "STRIPES" .XLS file ( you need Excel ) that is a sticky at the top of the exterior modification area here at TMS. That will give you alot of different setups and colors.
I'm not a fan of the red pinstripes BUT like we stated earlier the most important thing is that you like it !!

Chris, like others have said, it's what you like.
When I did my stripes, I didn't ask for anyone's opinion. I just did it my way.
BUT, since you're seeking opinions, I'm not feeling the narrow stripes.

I don't like the pinstripes being red either, but it is all about what you want.

Well I'm one of those that hate it..... lose the red atleast. No offense, but that's butt-ugly IMO.
Then, make the stripes wider and you're getting somewhere.

The color combo(blue-silver) is good but the red accent doesn't work, the red stripes will follow you like a skunk. Why not take tom281s' advice and widen the stripes and add some matching silver 1/8" tracers the length of your stripes.
