So tonight in pouring rain I ran up over a center devider and trashed my left side rims. Had already scraped up the right sides, and semi-successfully sanded/polished the damage, but the left front is way beyond repair. I've owned 36 cars, and never have I scratched up rims this way! Maybe its the 18" 'rs....dunno.

Anyway, time to get rid of the beautiful fan blades, which I think look great, but sick n tired of dealing with the damage soooo......want to go to plain old black steel wheels!...and justifiable as retro!

Anybody know if they are available in 18 inch config.?? And if so anybody ever see a "dog dish" hubcap like some of us ran back on the 60's muscle cars??

 

I have dog bowls on my 65 GTO. Love them. I havent seen anything like that for the 05+ though....

 

Update...According to the dealer nothing is available. The good news is no bent rim, although severely scratched! And no bent suspension parts, needed a slight alignment. A new "fan blade" wheel is $300.00, so guess I'll work on repairing the scratched one as best I can.

 

I think Tire Rack sells the Fanblades at a reasonable price

 

You live in LA. Check craigslist. I'm sure someone is selling some of those rims near you.
