Necessary to disable DRL before adding H.I.D. Bulbs?
I ordered a kit from ddmtuning asi have for all my previous vehicles. However, I read that the DRL must be disabled prior to installing the H.I.D. kit, is this true? I doubt any dealers in my area will disable them for me.

Not to be a post hussy but....I've found some info that might assist others.
As it goes with the ddm tuning kit for high/low beam single bulb systems, the DRL is automatically circumvented by utilizing the high/low beam harness included with any high/low beam single bulb kit.
However, upon switching to a single beam kit such as the H9 for the Raxiom single projector headlights, you would simply need to purchase the relay harness separately, in which the cost is minimal.

I retrofitted a hid kit myself though i didn't have to worry about disabling my drls. Tho i did reroute them to halos Haha. That was a PITA to figure out.
